Theme: How Humanity is Polluted by Self-Centeredness and Greed
Abstract: Humanity’s journey from unity to division is deeply marked by self-centeredness and greed. From the dawn of life to our modern civilization, we see how our transformation has led us to both triumphs and regrets.
From the moment life emerged on this planet, a magnificent transformation began. Earth’s journey into life began when an asteroid brought essential elements, sparking the process that transformed this world into a cradle for life. Small, single-celled organisms evolved into complex, multi-cellular life forms, paving the way for the age of humanity.
Initially, humans lived with humility, taking only what was necessary to survive among nature’s beasts. But as we evolved, so did our ambitions. With the advent of civilization, the desire for possession and control became our new instinct. No longer did we simply survive — we wanted to own. Land, power, people — nothing was off limits. We turned inward, becoming more self-centered, forgetting the unity and simplicity that once bound us.
In our pursuit of ownership and civilization, we lost sight of kindness and shared humanity. We began to exploit not just our fellow humans but all of nature. We polluted not only the Earth’s air and water but also our hearts and minds. Now, we see the weight of civilization as a heavy price, a debt that the entire race must pay.
But all is not lost. To move forward, we must replace greed with compassion, and division with unity. In the place of hatred, let love grow. In the place of selfishness, let generosity bloom. A purified mind and heart must become our new standards.
Life rarely offers a second chance to correct our mistakes. Let us not wait until we have exhausted our time and energy, only to leave a legacy of regret for future generations. We must act now, striving to create a world where humanity lives in harmony with nature, with kindness, and with each other.
The time is now, to bring change and live to see a world transformed.
