Program Benevolence : MISAI
A Small Step to End World Hunger
The initiative focuses on addressing hunger and promoting social inclusion among marginalized communities. By offering food on a monthly basis, Misai aims to alleviate the immediate need for nourishment while also raising awareness about the plight of the homeless and destitute. It aims to provide regular meals to the needy, focusing specifically on beggars who often struggle to meet their basic food requirements. By doing so, Misai aims to address the immediate needs of these individuals while also working towards creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.

SDG 2: Zero Hunger
The Misai campaign aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger. By providing regular meals to beggars and other needy individuals, the initiative contributes directly to the SDG target of ending hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture. Through its efforts, Misai plays a vital role in tackling food insecurity and reducing poverty among marginalized communities in Chennai.
Misai relies on donations from individuals, organizations, and businesses to fund its food distribution activities. Donations in the form of food items, such as grains, vegetables, and other non-perishable items, are also welcomed and help ensure a steady supply of meals for the needy.
